I am José A. Concepción Guerra, born April 1, 1981 in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico, and raised in the Guaraguao neighborhood of Guaynabo. I founded Guía Asociativa with a clear purpose: to humanize and strengthen community organization, in addition to sharing my experiences for spiritual and physical growth. My role within the movement is to promote teamwork, social awareness and unbiased innovation, creating a space where ideas are transformed into actions with real impact.
My motivation to create Guía Asociativa was born out of gratitude for strengthening the union inside and outside of prison institutions. I believe in the power of humanization to generate positive changes, providing tools for the structured and sustainable growth of individuals and organizations.
The story of Guía Asociativa was born out of the need to unite and strengthen communities to achieve real change. From the beginning, I saw how many people had ideas, but lacked the necessary tools and support.
Thus arose the idea of creating a social contract as a bridge between intention and action, with collaboration as the basis for growth. Over time, the movement has added people, creating connections and demonstrating that great changes can be achieved as a team.
“Thanks to Associative Guidance, we were able to structure our organization and connect with key allies. We are now moving forward with greater clarity and purpose.”
